VISUAL STORYTELLING

Stories don't always need to be told with words. Film, photography, and video have always been some of my favorite ways to communicate an idea. There’s something powerful about being able to tell a story through a single frame, a sequence of images, or a few seconds of video.

My background in filmmaking taught me to think about composition, movement, pacing, sound, emotion, and timing—and I carry that perspective into the marketing and content I create today. I’m always thinking about how the visual pieces work together, what they’re communicating, and how they make someone feel.

Whether I’m creating a short-form video for social media, capturing an event, developing promotional content, or building a larger visual concept, I approach each project with the same goal: make the story feel intentional, engaging, and worth paying attention to.

FILMMAKING: WHERE IT ALL STARTED

Before marketing, social media, and campaigns, there was filmmaking.

These projects gave me a place to experiment with storytelling, collaboration, visual direction, and the technical side of bringing an idea to life. They taught me to think beyond a single shot and consider how composition, lighting, sound, movement, and editing can work together to create a feeling and move a story forward.

Filmmaking also gave me the opportunity to work with others, take an idea from concept to finished piece, and learn through the process. Those early projects helped shape the way I approach visual storytelling today—and many of the skills I developed behind the camera continue to influence the way I create content, photography, and marketing materials.
