Insight Illuminated: Strategic Performance Metrics
Creative work can look great, but how do you know if it’s actually connecting with people? Analytics help answer that question. By looking at performance data, I can see what’s working, what could be improved, and where there are opportunities to grow. I use data to evaluate marketing and social media efforts, spot trends, and make more informed creative decisions.

Measuring more than just visibility.
Getting content in front of people is only part of the equation. Engagement helps show whether that content is actually giving people a reason to stop, react, comment, share, or interact. I use engagement rate to put performance into context and better understand how effectively content is connecting with its audience.

Looking beyond likes and follows.
Social media analytics give me a clearer picture of how content is actually performing. I pay attention to impressions, reach, engagement, and platform-specific trends to understand what catches attention and what encourages people to interact. By comparing performance across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, I can identify which platforms are gaining traction, what types of content are performing best, and where there is room to grow.
What I Look For:
The numbers are only useful if they lead somewhere. When reviewing analytics, I look for patterns rather than focusing on a single number.
Engagement Rate
Engagement rate gives me a quick look at how well my social content is connecting with the audience. By comparing reactions, comments, shares, and other interactions with overall impressions, I can see which platforms and pieces of content are creating the most meaningful engagement.
